Filing since 1917

Founded in Germany in 1917, ELBA has since developed into one of Europe’s most recognised brands in filing – known for robust quality and reliable solutions.

ELBA was founded in 1917 in the German region of Wuppertal and quickly dedicated itself to the production of lever arch files. Later, the company expanded its range with other types of filing products.

Today, ELBA is among Europe’s most recognised and popular filing brands. The products are known for their high quality and unique features that make organising both easy and efficient.

In 1998, ELBA was acquired by Bantex A/S, strengthening the brand’s position and development on the European market.

Innovation in closing systems and hanging files

ELBA leads the way with technical solutions that ensure better closing strength, stability and efficient handling of documents in daily use.

ELBA constantly works to stay ahead of new market challenges. The brand is behind the development of the well-known RADO mechanism, which gives lever arch files unique closing strength and ensures a stable, upright position.

Another example of ELBA’s innovative approach is the invention of Pendel Registratur – the world’s first hanging file system, which revolutionised filing solutions.

Sustainability and ease of use

ELBA’s mission is clear: to create effective, durable filing solutions that meet the needs of different users.

ELBA works purposefully to reduce the environmental impact of our production. We are ahead of European regulations on the use of chemicals and continuously strive to develop products in a greener and more sustainable way.

Our mission is clear: to create effective filing solutions that make everyday life easier for consumers.

We take into account the diversity of our customers and design products that meet different needs and preferences.

ELBA continuously strives to stay ahead of new challenges in the market.
