Over 100 years of precision

The story of Linex goes all the way back to 1923, when Danish civil engineering student Frede Duelund Nielsen began producing ship curves.

Over the years, Linex expanded its range to also include set squares and rulers. As a company, Linex was established in 1935, and after World War II, sales and exports increased steadily.

Linex quickly became known as one of the world’s leading companies in drawing instruments. In 1993, Linex was acquired by Bantex A/S, strengthening the brand’s position and development.

From idea to the perfect line

The Linex brand has always been synonymous with ultimate precision. Linex complies with ISO standards for drawing instruments, covering straightness, parallelism and accuracy.
