The history of the Oxford brand dates back to the period 1901–1910, when it was developed in France. In 1982, Oxford was acquired by Hamelin, and since then the brand has grown strongly and established itself as a market leader in notebooks, notepads and diaries in Europe.

Today, more than 50 million Oxford products are produced and sold annually on the European market. As much as 99% of the products are manufactured locally at Hamelin’s own factories in Europe.
